Cookie Policy

This English text is a translation, provided for convenience. The Romanian version is the legally binding one: read it in Romanian.

Atlas uses a single cookie and a few preferences saved in your browser, all strictly necessary. We use no analytics, advertising or third-party cookies and do not track your browsing.

Article 4(5) of Romanian Law no. 506/2004, which transposes Article 5(3) of Directive 2002/58/EC, exempts from consent the storage of information strictly necessary for a service you explicitly requested. That covers the sign-in session and the interface preferences you choose yourself. That is why we show no cookie banner.

If we ever add analytics or other cookies that are not necessary, we will ask for your consent first. We will do so through a banner in which accepting and refusing are equally easy.

What we store

Local storage stays in your browser and is not sent to us. Drafts of unsent messages stay on the device until you send or delete the message. On a shared computer, sign out and clear the site’s data when you are done.

Content loaded from third parties

Neither the app nor the website loads third-party resources: fonts, figure images from documents and every other file come from atlas-ai.ro. Your browser contacts no other servers while you use Atlas.

How to control this data

  • Signing out deletes the auth cookie.
  • You can delete the cookies and data saved for atlas-ai.ro at any time in your browser settings.
  • If you block the auth cookie, you cannot sign in to the app. If you block local storage, your preferences are not kept.
